With 14 different models to choose from, Bobcat can meet your needs. There are four Zero Tail Swing (ZTS) models available: E35, E45, 418 and 425. Zero Tail Swing means that the rear house does not extend beyond the tracks. This offers the greatest flexibility to deposit and slew spoil.
Conventional tail swing excavators have rear houses which protrude between 10 to 24 inches. This means that it is tougher to maneuver in tight spaces, however there is greater lift capacity. Bobcat offers five models with this tail swing, including the 323, 324, 325, 335, and 337.
Finally, there is the minimal tail swing. Here, the protrusion of the rear house is only 2 to 6 inches. Although the lift capacity is reduced, this swing allows the excavator to work in much tighter spaces. The E80 is a minimal tail swing model.
Despite the name of mini excavator, models made by Bobcat Excavators are hardly small in work capacity. Also known as compact excavators, these machines are perfect for smaller work spaces. With a low auto idle, they help reduce noise on job sites. With 360 degree turning radius, they have offer greater flexibility and make them the best in class.
