Mascus sets its sights on Canadian market

Mascus, the premiere international online e-marketplace for heavy used equipment and used transportation vehicles, is emulating its success across the world by putting the focus firmly on Canada for 2010.

February, 24th, 2010 -- The company, which offers buyers and sellers the chance to trade their used machinery to a global audience, has had a highly successful year, opening new offices in nine countries including the USA. The company now has offices in 32 countries, with the website platform transcending international borders and available in 33 languages. Not only is Mascus a major player in European trade, but has also established strong links to the booming Pacific economies including Japan, South Korea, China and Thailand.

Mascus has been trading in Canada for some time, but sees the coming year as an opportunity to build Canada’s links to the rest of the international trading community with a range of dynamic selling tools to make it easy to sell used equipment to international customers. Their database of customers includes over 3000 companies in Europe alone and over 5000 companies listed on its directories worldwide.

“Mascus has continued to grow at a phenomenal rate during its nine years, establishing a worldwide platform for buyers and sellers that removes the physical barriers of buying and selling used heavy machinery,” says Dennis Pietersma, Country Manager for Mascus Canada. “Our focus for next year is to build on that success and give Canadian buyers and sellers a worldwide marketplace from which to operate, giving them the chance to take advantage of opportunities beyond their own international borders,” he adds.
