Mascus Acquires Majority Stake in the Swedish Marknadspriser.Se

London 29th April - Mascus acquires a 60% shareholding in Swedish Marknadspriser i Sverige AB, the publisher of Marknadspriser.se online service. The company offers price valuation services to Bank Association in Sweden, for the largest truck dealers in Sweden and automated online valuation tool for bank and insurance companies. Company’s net sales for 2009 were EUR 390 000. Marknadspriser.se will become part of Mascus, and will further expands Mascus’ concept and product offering.

- The price valuation service developed by Marknadspriser i Sverige fits very well into Mascus’ product portfolio and future strategy to provide a global premium media. It is a very important area in the six industries Mascus is operating in, and our aim is to expand the price valuation service in all Mascus’ sectors in all countries, says Fredrik Larsson, Managing Director of Mascus.

Marknadspriser i Sverige AB is currently owned by the Swedish auction site KVD Bilauktioner AB (80%) and the Managing Director, Lennart Johansson (20%). Alma Media acquires now a 60 % holding and has an option to increase ownership to 100 % by the end of 2012.
