Summary:
London, 27th November 2007 – Mascus has launched
an updated and improved version of its online platform. It aims to provide a
one-stop resource for those looking to advertise and purchase used machinery and
equipment. New and improved features are discussed.
Body:
Mascus, the Pan-European e-marketplace for used equipment and transportation vehicles,
was established in October 2000 and launched in January 2001. After almost seven
years of market presence, it is already internationally-known among many buyers
and sellers of used truck and trailers, forklifts, construction, agricultural,
forest and groundscare machines. Currently, each month it is visited by more
than a quarter of million buyers and sellers.
Constant Improvements
In mid-December Mascus publishes a
new version of its platform. The website has been designed in accordance with
updated technology and customers’ feedback. New improvements have been
implemented in different elements on the site in order to provide Mascus
customers with first-class service.
Interactive Front Page
The innovative front page offers
a possibility to view the newest placed machines under each of the sectors. A
quick-search option has been included to ease direct browsing within the ads in
a category and a sub-category. The language and currency converter will be
easier to access, while browsing the whole site and navigation between different
Mascus countries will be constantly accessible at the bottom of the page.
More Banner Possibilities
To satisfy advertisers' needs,
the new layout gives an opportunity for a better Banner Advertising. More room
has been provided for the top banner and additional space has been added at the
bottom of the page and aside.
New Search and Sort
Options
Search functions have also been provided with additional
sorting options, which make searching easier within the newest ads on the site
and within ads including pictures. The newest ads have been categorized as
newest 24 hours ads and last-7 day’ ads. The ads are also respectively
highlighted (24h and 7d) in the list of machines.
Mascus Magazine Ads
Dealers' ads, which have been
published in the Mascus Magazine, have been granted special exposure on the
website.
More Improvements
Along with the platform innovations
Mascus has improved the ad placement system and incorporated more local payment
possibilities. The most popular tools among dealers, like ad management, stock
list print, export to Excel, e-mail offer tool, give, as in last version,
multi-language and multi-currency accessibility. Functions, serving buyers
needs, like transportation, financing, alert services and want ad notification
are now more intuitive and user-friendly.
Possibility for More Services
"The utilization of
the latest technology gives us an opportunity to integrate new services in the
future. Thusly Mascus will be capable to meet the challenges of being most
innovative, market leading, Pan-European Marketplace." says Tomasz
Odrobiński - Mascus Marketing and Internationalization Director.
